Proposals, Sola Rosa Tech
Diane has over 15 years of experience working with researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs, helping them tell compelling stories to win funding that will allow them to follow their passions. With a background in molecular biology and a love of the written word, Diane is a natural science communicator. Her meticulous (and sometimes obsessive) attention to details and planning, coupled with her ability to absorb, synthesize and organize large volumes of information, can quickly turn the stressful proposal writing process into a rational and organized experience. She might nerd out a bit and ask annoying questions, but there is generally a method to her madness based on her proposal writing and reviewing expertise.
Diane excels at working with individuals, small groups, and large teams.
Her project management skills help provide a structure to development projects and her jaqueline-of-all-trades knowledge base, spanning technology commercialization, research management, intellectual property, quality assurance, risk management, and fundraising helps identify when new skills are needed at the table. She has a passion for entrepreneurship and loves working with innovators and ideators to help refine the marketability of their vision. Her favorite projects involve developing strategic business cases for new research and business ideas.
Diane lives on the farm with two sons, two dogs, several cats, and a husband, all of whom appear to be housebroken. She loves to garden and is always in search of methods that avoid weeding. In the winter she has a love/hate relationship with her treadmill.
